◆第5回 台湾②：民族独立・共産主義運動取締から戦時体制構築への抵抗封殺へ

概要：1920年代になって始動する台湾の社会運動には、まず治安警察法による抑圧が加えられました。その後の治安維持法運用の特徴として、台湾共産党事件を含めて上海などの大陸とのつながりが強いこと、暴力行為等処罰法や森林法、不敬罪などの補完的な治安法令の活用の度合いが大きかったことがあげられます。戦時体制下では「帝国の本島統治に不満」をもつ動きや台湾独立・中国復帰を志向する運動を標的に、日本国内以上の厳罰が科せられました。
