概要：日本国内と同様に1930年代半ばには朝鮮での組織的な民族独立・共産主義運動は抑えこまれていきますが、日中戦争全面化とともに「大陸前進」基地としての朝鮮の治安確保がさらに求められた結果、治安維持法は地表下の共産主義運動や民族主義運動のわずかな芽生えさえもえぐり出すとともに、宗教団体にも襲いかかっていきました。刑務所での思想犯のあつかいや治安維持法を補完する保安法・朝鮮臨時保安令などの積極的な活用の事例にも言及します。
