概要：日本における先住民族の運動は1980年代に始まります。日本の総理大臣が、日本は「単一民族の国」で、それ故に世界の中でも「優秀な国」であると堂々と言える時代でした。そうした時代状況に対する社会運動で、1997年には二風谷ダム判決と「アイヌ文化振興法」の制定があり、また、1996年には琉球民族が先住民族として、国連人権機関への訪問を始めました。
