概要：ドイツでは、国家だけでなく市民社会も折に触れて「過去」に向き合う行動を示しています。もともとこの国には、人名を冠した道路名がごく普通に存在することに加え、町の標識や「躓きの石」など、歴史を考える日常的な「教材」がたくさんあります。若い世代の歴史認識と国際理解を促すプロジェクトも盛んに行われています。
