　　ナチズムの過去に対し、戦後のドイツ人が初めから誠実に向き合ったわけではありません。「戦争でドイツだってひどい目にあった」とか、ナチスの蛮行を「自分は何も知らなかった」といった自己欺瞞は、戦後西ドイツでよく聞かれた声でした。他方東ドイツでは、戦勝国のソ連と一体化した公式の歴史観が幅を利かせていました。この回では、初期両独国家における歴史認識を取り上げます。
