概要：この講座では、オーストラリアとの境界海域世界（ティモル海）に生きるロテ島漁民に注目します。(1)同島南岸の海の民・バジャウ人中心の集落、(2)同島北岸の非バジャウ人集落による外的経済要件の変化への対応を比較するなかで、漁民の論理とグローバル社会の不条理を明らかにします。
