概要：ドイツでも以前は無責任な核ごみ管理を行っていた。アッセにある中低レベル核廃棄術処分では大量の地下水が流れ込み、崩壊の危険性も指摘された。ゴアレーベンでは高レベル核廃棄物処分場をめぐり、激しい抗議運動が起こった。しかし福島原発事故以後、利害関係者や様々な社会構成団体、一般市民が参加する時間をかけた公論形成が進められている。ドイツの核ゴミ問題に詳しい岡村りら准教授からその実態を聞き、日本に与える示唆点を検証する。
