◆第3回 「平和の礎」の創設にたずさわって

講師：高山朝光（沖縄「平和の礎」の会会長）
概要：国籍や軍人、民間人の区別なく戦没者の氏名を刻銘した「平和の礎」は、完成・除幕後、国内外・沖縄県内外から多くの人が訪れ、平和学習・平和発信の場として大きな役割を担っています。一方で、「平和の礎」を後世に語る後継者の育成、朝鮮半島戦没者の刻銘名簿の遅れや、沖縄戦の実相の解明という面では、課題も残されています。当時、沖縄県知事公室長として建設に関わった高山朝光さんに、「平和の礎」の構想から建設までの取り組みを伺います。
