◆第5回人権としての言語権とサザンセオリー（南の理論）－琉球諸語の言語リクラメーションの事例から

概要：言語リクラメーションとは、言語を使用する権利を主張することも含めた言語再活性化の枠組みです。先住民言語を話す話者の沈黙は、言語と文化への政策的な抑圧、その言語文化に関する伝統的な知識の否定などに代表される植民地主義的な取り組みの結果によるものです。植民地主義的な言語教育政策は先住民言語の話者やその子孫の自己肯定感や自尊心の喪失に繋がっています。先住民言語を使用することは、言語権また脱植民地化なしに語ることができません。本講義では、琉球諸語の再活性化における言語リクラメーションの活動を取り上げ、人権としての言語権とサザンセオリー（南の理論）を紹介します。
