概要：選択的夫婦別姓導入を求める請願を、半世紀も軽視してきた国会。法制審議会が四半世紀以上も前に答申した民法改正はたな晒し状態だ。一方、国際社会から厳しく指摘され続ける日本の男女格差。ジェンダーギャップは若者たちから希望を奪い、日本の将来に暗い影を落としている。ジェンダー平等の阻害要因が、安倍元首相の銃撃事件を契機に明らかになった。私たちがジェンダー平等実現のために何をすべきか考えてみたい。
