◆第３回アイヌ民族と国連外交：自らの参加体験から権利回復の道を語る

講師：阿部ユポ（札幌アイヌ協会会長・元北海道アイヌ協会副理事長）
概要：アイヌ民族が国連人権機関に足を運ぶようになったのは、1987年のこと。1984年に採択された「アイヌ新法案」の制定を政府に要請する運動の中、中曽根康弘首相の単一民族発言が飛び出す矛盾した時代でした。その後の継続的な参加の中で、1997年「二風谷ダム判決」が出され、「アイヌ文化振興法」も制定されました。そして、2007年には「先住民族の権利国連宣言」が国連総会で採択され、翌年には、アイヌ民族は「先住民族」（衆参両院決議）と認められました。このプロセスの中にいた体験を、ゆっくり振り返ってみたいと思います。
