◆第2回「琉球・沖縄の人々」と国連外交そして国際連携

講師：当真嗣清（アジア先住民族連合（AIPP）会員、元理事）
概要：かつて琉球国という独立国を持った、琉球民族が国連に参加したのは1996年でした。その後、継続的な国連諸機関への参加を経て、2008年には自由権規約委員会から「先住民族」であるとの勧告を受けました。そうした流れは不可逆的であると同時に、ジュネーブに留まらず、アジアでのネットワーク組織（AIPP）との協力や世界各地での国連関連会議への参加によって、大きな連携の機会も広がっています。昨今「先住民族」に対する否定的な言説が広がっていますが、先住民族としての琉球民族の運動の成果や可能性を、自らの体験からお話したいと思います。
