概要：第二次世界大戦後の国際社会で発展してきた国際人権法は、日本の国内法制にも大きな影響を与えました。しかしその一方で、日本が受け入れ、対外的にも表明している立場と相容れないような人権状況が、国内では続いているという事態も多々発生しています。諸外国に対して、人権を守れと日本政府が求めるという局面もみられる今日、人権に対する共通の理解がますます問われていると言えるでしょう。普遍的に認められる人権の考え方とはどのようなものか、そしてそれは、日本における人権と異なるのか、それとも相通ずるのか。両者をつなぐ回路は？ご一緒に考えたいと思います。
