概要：今年は戦後・（韓国にとっては）解放80年です。日韓国交正常化60年の節目でもあります。今でこそ人々や文化が行き交う両国ですが、戦争や日本植民地支配が終わって20年も日韓の間には国交がありませんでした。2つに分断されたもう1つ、朝鮮民主主義人民共和国とはまだ国交がありません。つまり、日朝韓で自由に人が行き交うことが今でも難しいのです。何故こんな風に片方とは国交があって、もう片方とは国交がないのでしょうか。私たちは教育・差別・徴兵・軍事基地・核開発など、知らないうちにこうした東アジアの対立・緊張状態の影響を沢山受けています。緊張が高まると、最悪の場合戦争になってしまう可能性もあるのです。どうしたらこのように非平和的な東アジアの状況を脱して平和的な東アジアになれるでしょうか。これからの平和を創っていく日韓のミライ世代と一緒に学び考えてみます。
