◆第1回二つのノーベル平和賞を一つにするために

講師：桜井均（映像ジャーナリスト・元ＮＨＫディレクター／プロデューサー）
概要：戦後80年、二つのノーベル平和賞が、私たちの目の前で捻じれ状態で、折り重なっている。一つは、2017年、核兵器禁止条約の制定に貢献したICAN（International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons）＝核兵器廃絶国際キャンペーンに与えられたもの。もう一つは、2024年、核兵器の非人道性を世界に訴え続けてきた日本被団協に贈られたものである。しかし、日本政府は「唯一の戦争被爆国」を僭称しながら、核兵器禁止条約に署名・批准はおろかオブザーバー参加することさえ拒んでいる。これら二つのノーベル平和賞に共通するのは、広島、長崎の被爆者たちの粘り強い被害状況の訴えにともなう苦難の闘いの流れである。しかし、二つのノーベル平和賞は政治の世界では、必ずしも一つのものとなっていない。今回のシリーズでは、二つのノーベル平和賞が一つになれない要素を、戦後の歴史のなかで様々な角度から探り出し考えていきたい。
