概要：1991年春、偶然のきっかけで、韓国・朝鮮人元BC級戦犯者のみなさんと出会いました。その日、話を聞かせてくれた洪鐘黙さんは、泰緬鉄道の建設現場で捕虜監視員をし、戦後、イギリスによる裁判で死刑判決を受けます。その晩、自殺未遂。命はとりとめ、減刑で生き延びますが、なぜ朝鮮出身の人が日本の戦争責任を負わねばならず、そのことを自分は知りもしなかったのか。以来34年、出会ってきた元戦犯者の方々から学んだことを整理し、現在の日本のありようを考えてみます。
