概要：「日本戦犯」という言葉を初めて聞いた時、「親日派」よりもっと酷い人々かなと思って、適当に最初の挨拶をした記憶がある。ところがある日、彼が私と同じ故郷の「宝城の人」だと聞いたとき、彼について妙な縁を感じ、彼の顔と表情を何度も見つめた。彼が私の祖父であり、私の父であり、彼が「私自身」であることを知ったのは長い時間が流れた後であった。その時、彼はすでに私のそばを去っていた。「イハンネは私だ」『ハンギョレ』（2015年2月1日）。2025年今日、「李鶴来」は、私たちにどういうメッセージを伝えているだろうか。
