概要：江原道は、朝鮮戦争当時、南北の激戦地となり、春川・楊口・麟蹄などで数多くの軍人と民間人が犠牲となった悲劇の地です。「白馬高地の戦い」では、世界の戦史にも類を見ない規模の攻防戦が繰り広げられ、一日平均5万発もの砲弾が撃ち込まれました。またこの地域では、民間人に対する「協力者」容疑による集団虐殺や、トンネル付近での虐殺が後に住民の証言やドキュメンタリーを通じて明らかになっています。江原大学 統一研究院は、江原地域における朝鮮戦争の実態を調査し、追悼活動にも関わり、朝鮮戦争のもう一つの姿を再現しています。私たちはどのように朝鮮戦争を記憶し、追悼すべきでしょうか。江原道の視点から朝鮮戦争のもう一つの本質を探っていきます。
