講師：渡部宏樹（表層文化論／ファン研究者）
概要：いつのまにか「人気」があることになっている。支持率が語られ、画面の中では作り笑顔が流れる。議論がないまま、空気だけが広がっていく。その熱はどこから生まれるのでしょう。この回では、メディア、広告、SNS、エンタメが人々の感情や欲望をどう動かし、熱狂を生み出していくのかを考えます。推すという感情と欲望の回路をたどり、その先にある資本主義の構造にも目を向けます。対話形式で、違和感や疑問を持ち寄りながら、この社会を動かしている熱の正体を探りましょう。

＜講師プロフィール＞
筑波大学人社系助教。南カリフォルニア大学映画芸術研究科にて映画メディア研究の博士号取得。博士論文では第二次世界大戦前の日系アメリカ人の映画を中心とする文化史を研究。資本主義社会における文化と芸術について、特にその受容者側（観客／消費者／ユーザー／市民）に注目して研究をしている。『ファンたちの市民社会』（河出書房新社、2025年）、共訳書ヘンリー・ジェンキンズ『コンヴァージェンス・カルチャー』（晶文社、2021年）、ダニエル・ハーバート『ビデオランド』（作品社、2021年）｜Ph. D. in Cinema and Media Studies (USC)
