概要：今年の5月に、南鳥島での核ごみ最終処分場建設に向けた文献調査が東京都小笠原村で始まりました。本州から離れた無人島ということで、一部に歓迎する声もあります。しかし住民の合意形成が不十分なままに開始されたことで、地域社会には戸惑いや不安を抱く住民もいます。南鳥島での地層処分に問題はないのでしょうか？本講座ジェネレーターの高野聡が解説します。また小笠原住民との対話も予定しています。
