◆第6回 「敗戦後論」の何が問題だったのか

講師：高橋哲哉（東京大学名誉教授）
概要：「戦後50年」に当たる1995年、文芸批評家の故・加藤典洋氏が「敗戦後論」を発表し、それを講師（高橋）が批判したことをきっかけとして、「歴史主体論争」とも呼ばれる大きな論争に発展しました。ところが最近、30年余り前のこの論争を読み直し、「敗戦後論」を再評価する動きがみられると言います。論争の当事者であった講師が、この動きの意味を問い、論争の今日的意味を考察します。
