◆第2回 FAS汚染問題を日本・アメリカ・世界に訴える ～宜野湾ちゅら水会 国連訪問報告会～

開催日：2023年8月16日（水）19:00-21:00 （←8月2日台風のため延期になりました）

講師：宜野湾ちゅら水会のみなさん
概要：「宜野湾ちゅら水会」は、普天間基地から派生する湧き水のPFAS汚染について、その原因解明と解決を求める団体です。沖縄の食文化の代表ともいえる田芋畑の汚染や、消化訓練施設に隣接する小学校の運動場の土壌汚染について、その対策を行政やアメリカ軍に訴えています。しかし、アメリカ軍を相手に肝心の日本政府は、人権を侵されている農家や大切な子どもたちを守ろうとせず、事態は放置されたままです。この状況を訴えるために、私たちは今年７月にスイス・ジュネーブで開催される、国連EMRIP（国連先住民族の権利に関する専門家機構）に参加します。その成果報告会として本講座でお話させていただきます。
