概要：1998年のスハルト政権崩壊以降、インドネシアはアジア有数の民主主義国家へと歩みを進めてきた。その過程で、市民社会の拡大、地方分権の推進、選挙制度の整備などが進んだ一方、汚職の構造的温存、政治エリートの再編、そして経済的不平等の拡大など、民主主義の質にかかわる課題も表面化している。
この講座では、第1部に続き、インドネシアの学生運動世代であるJATI先生の実体験と視点を通じて、現代インドネシアの民主主義が直面する新たな挑戦を多角的に検討する。
