概要：東南アジア、特にフィリピンやインドネシアの経済成長を押し上げている要因のひとつに海外移住労働者からの送金があげられる。1980年代以降、女性が単身で海外に渡ってケア労働を中心とする様々なサービス業で働くことが、政府の政策としても奨励された。これを「移住労働の女性化」ととらえた上で再生産領域のグローバル化というテーマのもとに検証する。
